The partnership with the London streetwear label became one of the most talked-about kit stories of the tournament. Note that this is the Palace version — under FIFA regulations restricting sponsor marks on playing and warm-up kits at the World Cup, the tops worn by players on pitch during the tournament appeared without Palace branding. England reached the semi-finals in North America, falling 2-1 to Argentina before beating France 6-4 in a ten-goal third-place play-off, with Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka leading the attack.
