2023/24 Bayer Leverkusen Home Jersey. Made by Castore, this black home shirt features a bold red cross spanning the front, a direct visual reference to the Bayer company logo and the most prominent use of the club’s “cross on the chest” identity to date. It was worn throughout Bayer Leverkusen’s landmark 2023/24 campaign under Xabi Alonso, when the club won its first Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal, while becoming the first side to complete a Bundesliga season unbeaten. Granit Xhaka joined from Arsenal before the season and became a central figure in Alonso’s midfield; he made 50 appearances in all competitions, registering four goals and two assists. Wearing #34, Xhaka played in the 5-0 home win over Werder Bremen on 14 April 2024, the result that secured Leverkusen’s maiden Bundesliga championship.
