2020/22 Hong Kong Home Jersey. Nike's design drew inspiration from the city's "Concrete Forest", blending different tones of red into a herringbone-like geometric pattern, with a two-tone overlapping V-neck and white Swoosh. Unveiled in November 2020, it was worn throughout the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Iran, Iraq, Bahrain and Cambodia, and at the EAFF E-1 Championship 2022 finals in Japan. On 3 June 2021, Matt Orr marked his Hong Kong debut with a late goal against Iran in Manama. Under coach Jørn Andersen, Hong Kong then beat Afghanistan and Cambodia in Kolkata in June 2022 to qualify for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, their first appearance since 1968, before finishing fourth at the EAFF E-1 finals.
