2018/19 Hong Kong Home Jersey. Nike's design for Hong Kong's customary red home shirt featured darker horizontal stripes forming a tonal Bauhinia flower graphic, referencing the five-petaled flower on the regional flag, while the crest simply read "Hong Kong". The shirt launched in October 2018 ahead of new head coach Gary White's first match in charge, a friendly against Thailand at Mong Kok Stadium. In this kit Hong Kong topped the EAFF E-1 Championship second preliminary round in Taipei ahead of North Korea on goal difference, reaching the tournament finals for the first time since 2010. During 2022 World Cup qualifying, Hong Kong drew 0-0 with Bahrain at Hong Kong Stadium in November 2019 — a match followed by FIFA's ten-game ban on a Bahrain player for a racist gesture — then closed the home campaign with a 2-0 win over Cambodia.
