This jersey marked AFC Wimbledon’s first two seasons in League One following their 2016 play-off promotion, with the club finishing 15th in 2016/17 and 18th in 2017/18. A historic moment came on 14 March 2017 when AFC Wimbledon defeated Milton Keynes Dons 2-0 at Kingsmeadow in this kit, with Jake Reeves and Lyle Taylor scoring in the first-ever league meeting between the two clubs at the AFC Wimbledon's’ home ground.
