Produced by Nike, the design features vertical stripes in different shades of red forming a V shape symbolising victory, paired with white detailing and the slogan “勁揪!” printed inside the collar. The kit debuted in October 2014 and was worn in the HKFA centenary friendly against Argentina at Hong Kong Stadium, where Lionel Messi came off the bench to score twice in a 7-0 win. It was later used throughout the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign, in which Hong Kong famously held China to 0-0 draws both home and away on their way to a third-place group finish. The #7 nameset belongs to Chan Siu Ki, Hong Kong’s all-time top scorer with 37 international goals. He appeared as a substitute in both China fixtures and headed a late 1-0 winner away to Bhutan during the campaign.
