The jersey features Adidas’ classic blue design for the Japan national team. Japan used this kit during their triumphant 2011 AFC Asian Cup campaign, held in Qatar in January 2011, where they claimed a record fourth Asian Cup title by defeating Australia 1-0 in extra time in the final. Kawashima, as goalkeeper, wore the GK kit during matches but was notably spotted wearing the #1 home outfield jersey during the post-tournament trophy celebration. He was a key figure throughout the tournament, famously saving three penalties in the shootout victory over South Korea in the semi-final.
Jersey is in good condition, but there is slight pilling on the lower back hem (see photos)
