2009/10 Borussia Dortmund Home Jersey. This Kappa centenary edition was produced to mark Borussia Dortmund’s 100th anniversary on 19 December 2009. Rather than the usual yellow, it uses a gold base inspired by the club’s 1963 German championship shirt, with the special crest, “100 Jahre echte Liebe” collar detail and a tonal record of major BVB honours incorporated into the fabric. It was worn only once: in the Bundesliga home match against SC Freiburg on the club’s exact centenary, which Dortmund won 1–0 through Lucas Barrios’ first-half header. Under Jürgen Klopp, Dortmund later finished fifth in the 2009/10 Bundesliga, while Barrios ended the league campaign as the club’s leading scorer with 19 goals.
