2004/06 Japan Home Jersey. Made by Adidas, the shirt carries the brand’s curved-stripe template of the era in Japan’s traditional blue, paired with a white trim and the Japan Football Association crest. It was worn during the 2004 AFC Asian Cup campaign in China, where Japan won a record-equalling third continental title under coach Zico, beating hosts China 3-1 in the final. The jersey is closely tied to the quarterfinal against Jordan, when Takayuki Suzuki scored the equalising goal in the 14th minute to force extra time and a penalty shootout, which Japan won 4-3 to advance toward the trophy. Suzuki, wearing #11, was a key forward that year, scoring 6 goals in 18 appearances for Japan in 2004, his most productive international season before his career with the national team wound down through 2005.
Jersey is in good condition. An insignificant mark near the right shoulder (see photos). Minor bobbling on the jersey.
