2003/05 Manchester United Third Jersey. Nike’s white third shirt features fine horizontal black-and-red pinstripes, black piping on the collar and Vodafone branding; it was the club’s only Nike-era pinstriped design and remained in use across two seasons. The 2003/04 campaign brought Manchester United the FA Cup, their record 11th, while the shirt is especially associated with the 1–0 FA Cup semi-final victory over Arsenal at Villa Park on 3 April 2004. Paul Scholes wore his established no. 18 during this period and scored the decisive goal against Arsenal before United went on to win the final; he also recorded nine Premier League goals in both 2003/04 and 2004/05.
