Jersey Highlight: 2003/05 Man Utd Away Jersey. This black kit featured a distinctive two-tone geometric pattern with white trim on the collar and cuffs, marking United's return to an all-black design last seen in 1998/99. The 2003/04 season saw Manchester United win their record-breaking 11th FA Cup with a 3-0 victory over Millwall at the Millennium Stadium. The 2004/05 campaign proved more challenging, with United finishing third in the Premier League and going trophyless for the first time in two seasons. Roy Keane wore the number 16 shirt during these seasons as United's captain, making 38 appearances in 2003/04 and 43 appearances in 2004/05. However, the 2004/05 season would be Keane's final full season at the club, as he departed Old Trafford in November 2005 after 12 and a half years, ending an era that saw him become one of the club's most decorated players with seven Premier League titles and four FA Cups.
