The 1999/00 Newcastle United Away Jersey is a white Adidas kit accented with teal and black trim, worn as a visual counterpart to that season’s blue-trimmed home shirt, and carries the Newcastle Brown Ale sponsor across the chest. That season Bobby Robson took over from Ruud Gullit early on and steadied the side to an 11th-place Premier League finish, while captain Alan Shearer top-scored with 23 league goals and 30 in all competitions. Newcastle also reached the FA Cup semi-final for a second straight year, beating Tottenham, Sheffield United, Blackburn and Tranmere before falling 1-2 to Chelsea, with away colours regularly rotated through that cup run when clashes required a change from the home strip.
