1999/00 Inter Milan Home Jersey. This is Nike’s second home shirt for Inter Milan following their 1998–99 debut season. The design retains the classic black and blue vertical stripes with a black rounded crew neck collar and black cuffs, white Pirelli sponsor across the chest, gold star above the embroidered club crest, and yellow Nike swoosh on the right chest. The 1999–2000 season saw Inter finish 4th in Serie A with 58 points, reach the Coppa Italia final (losing 1–2 on aggregate to Lazio), and win a Champions League play-off against Parma 3–1 thanks to two goals from Roberto Baggio in his final appearance for the club. This was the season Ronaldo (“Il Fenomeno”) suffered a devastating knee tendon rupture in November 1999, returned briefly in April 2000, then re-injured the same knee minutes into his comeback — a campaign defined by brilliance and heartbreak for the Brazilian #9.
