1998/99 Juventus Home Jersey. Produced by Kappa with the D+ Libertà Digitale sponsor, this classic black-and-white striped jersey features white shoulders and a black polo collar, continuing the bold four-stripe width introduced the previous season. The 1998/99 campaign was a turbulent one: after four consecutive Scudetto-contending years under Marcello Lippi, injury crises to Alessandro Del Piero and Zinedine Zidane derailed the domestic challenge, and Juventus finished a lowly seventh in Serie A. Lippi departed in February 1999 and Carlo Ancelotti steadied the ship to reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, where a Filippo Inzaghi brace gave hope at Old Trafford before Manchester United overturned the tie 3–2 in Turin. Inzaghi still topped the scoring charts with 13 league goals, while Thierry Henry arrived in January 1999 for his debut half-season in Italy. This shirt was worn throughout that bittersweet season, bridging the end of the Lippi era and the brief Ancelotti interlude.
