1995/96 Bayern Munich Away Jersey. This classic adidas design features a white base with a distinctive diagonal red and blue sash across the chest, accompanied by the Opel sponsor logo. The jersey was worn during Bayern Munich's historic 1995/96 UEFA Cup triumph, where they defeated Bordeaux 5–1 on aggregate (2–0 at home, 3–1 away) to claim their first UEFA Cup title and become the third club to have won all three major European trophies. The final first leg on 1 May 1996 at the Olympiastadion saw Bayern win 2–0 with goals from Thomas Helmer and Mehmet Scholl, while the second leg in Bordeaux on 15 May 1996 ended 3–1 to Bayern with strikes from Scholl, Emil Kostadinov and Jürgen Klinsmann. This was also the last major European final won by a club without names on the back of their shirts, as UEFA mandated squad numbers from 1996/97. The kit was used throughout the 1995/96 campaign under coaches Otto Rehhagel and, for the UEFA Cup final, Franz Beckenbauer.
