Launched by Nike in March 2023, this home shirt keeps an all-red base with white cuffs and Swoosh on a premium rounded-neck template, a design inspired by the Hong Kong flag. The minimalist look divided supporters, while fans also rushed to buy shirts carrying the HKFA branding before "China" was added to the association's official name. In this kit, Hong Kong beat Bhutan 4-0 at Hong Kong Stadium in the 2026 World Cup qualifying play-off and went on to reach their first AFC Asian Cup finals since 1968. The #22 was worn during this period by Eastern winger Sun Ming Him, who set a single-season scoring record among local players in 2022/23, helped Hong Kong reach the 2023 Asian Games semi-finals, and earned a move to CSL club Cangzhou Mighty Lions in February 2024.
