Produced by Nike and unveiled in late 2020 alongside the home and away kits, with the launch campaign photographed against Hong Kong’s dense urban architecture, this goalkeeper shirt was worn until the team switched to a new kit in September 2022. Its era is defined by June 2022, when Jørn Andersen’s side defeated Afghanistan and Cambodia in Kolkata to secure AFC Asian Cup qualification for the first time since 1968, ending a 55-year wait. The defining match was the 3-0 win over Cambodia, where Matt Orr, Sun Ming Him and Chan Siu Kwan scored, while captain and goalkeeper Yapp Hung Fai started in goal and kept a clean sheet.
