Jersey Highlight: 2011/12 France Home Jersey. This was the first design from new kit manufacturer Nike after taking over from adidas, marking the beginning of a 40-year partnership change. France qualified for Euro 2012 by finishing top of Group D with 21 points, ahead of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The season featured notable home victories including a 2-0 win over Luxembourg where Philippe Mexès scored his only international goal in the 28th minute. Mexès was in his final season as a France international, earning his last caps before retiring from international duty in 2012 after representing Les Bleus at Euro 2012. During the 2011/12 season, Mexès also joined AC Milan from Roma on a free transfer in July 2011, marking his first season with the Italian club.
