Jersey Highlight: 2007/08 LA Galaxy Away Jersey. The navy blue away kit featured gold accent lines and marked a significant rebranding coinciding with David Beckham's landmark arrival from Real Madrid in July 2007. The most memorable match in this jersey was the epic 5-4 loss to New York Red Bulls on August 18, 2007, at Giants Stadium, where Beckham recorded two assists in front of 66,237 fans in what is considered one of the most exciting games in MLS history. In his first full season with the Galaxy in 2008, Beckham tallied 10 assists and 5 goals in 25 games, scoring his first MLS goal on April 3, 2008, against San Jose and earning MLS Player of the Week honors twice.
