2002/03 Leeds United Home Jersey. Nike’s long-sleeve home shirt retained Leeds’ traditional white base, with restrained blue trim, a blue Nike Swoosh, embroidered club crest and Strongbow sponsor across the front. Leeds began the campaign under Terry Venables and finished 15th in the Premier League; Mark Viduka was the club’s leading scorer with 22 goals in all competitions. This was James Milner’s breakthrough campaign as a 16-year-old at his hometown club. Milner made his first-team debut as a substitute in Leeds’ 4-3 win at West Ham United on 10 November 2002, then became the Premier League’s youngest scorer at the time with the winner in a 2-1 victory over Sunderland on Boxing Day. He scored again in the following league match, a 2-0 home win against Chelsea, and ended the season with two goals in 22 appearances in all competitions as Leeds finished 15th.
