1998/00 Man Utd Home Jersey. Made by Umbro, the shirt features a white zip-up collar, the brand’s diamond taping across the shoulders, and the first United crest without the words “football club”. It was the last United home shirt to carry long-time sponsor Sharp, who were replaced by Vodafone in 2000. The jersey accompanied the club’s most successful period: the 1998/99 Treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, the first by an English club, followed by a sixth Premier League title in 1999/00, won by a record 18-point margin. In this shirt, United beat Tottenham 2-1 on the final day to clinch the 1999 league title and defeated Newcastle 2-0 in the FA Cup final through goals from Sheringham and Scholes; a separate European shirt was worn in the Champions League final win over Bayern Munich.
