Jersey Highlight: 1996/97 Parma Third Jersey. This Puma third shirt features a vivid orange base with blue sleeves, white trim and central Parmalat sponsor, offering a strong contrast to Parma’s traditional gialloblù colours. Parma wore it in the 1996/97 Serie A campaign, a season in which they finished as runners-up under coach Carlo Ancelotti, qualifying for the following season’s Champions League. The kit is best known for its extremely limited use, reportedly appearing only once in a competitive match, away to Lazio, which has contributed to its reputation among collectors as one of the rarer Parma shirts of the 1990s. Star names in that side included Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Lilian Thuram, Dino Baggio and Enrico Chiesa, all part of a highly regarded Parma era in Italian football.
